We wanted to make sure everyone knows that Interfaith Outreach Association’s 9th Annual Walter M. Fore, Jr. Downtown Lynchburg Historic Church Open House is on Saturday, December 13th, 2025.

This year’s event is FREE and open to the public. Donations by concertgoers to Interfaith Outreach Association will be appreciated.

The following is the concert schedule for the seven historic congregations that will be open for a 15-minute holiday concert performance:

• 9:15 AM: 5th Street Baptist Church, 1007 5th St.
  • Youth Led Music of the Season
• 10:00 AM: Diamond Hill Baptist Church, 1415 Grace St.
  • DHBC Mass Choir in celebration of the Glory of God

• 10:45 AM: Jackson Street United Methodist Church, 901 Jackson St.
  • Soloist Ron Shoultz and friends singing Christmas songs
• 11:30 AM: Holy Cross Catholic Church, 710 Clay St.
  • Simbang Gabi Choir singing Filipino mass songs and Christmas carols
• 12:00 Noon: Court Street Baptist Church, 517 Court St.
  • Senior Choir and Organist
• 12:30 PM: Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 818 Court St.
  • Pianist Emily Chua playing light holiday jazz
• 1:00 PM: Church of the Good Shepherd with special guest Agudath Sholom Synagogue
  • Church of the Good Shepherd: Songs from the Advent Season from a variety of instruments including guitar and piano
  • Agudath Sholom Synagogue: Temple members singing about the Maccabees and Hannukah rituals

All churches are in downtown Lynchburg.
