Join us on Saturday\, December 8 for Interfaith Outreach Association’s 4th Annual Walter M. fore\, Jr. Downtown Lynchburg Historic Church Open House. This year’s event is FREE and open to the public with donations to Interfaith Outreach Association encouraged as a holiday gift. The following is the concert schedule for the nine historic congregations that will be open for a 20 minute holiday concert performance: Jackson Street United Methodist Church-10 am\, Eighth Street Baptist Church-10:30 am\, Diamond Hill Baptist Church-11 am\, Holy Cross Catholic Church-11:30 am\, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church-12 pm\, Court Street Baptist Church-12:30 pm\, Court Street United Methodist Church- 1pm\, First Unitarian Church 1:30 pm\, First Baptist Church-2 pm. Each concert will last no more than 15-20 minutes giving you plenty of time to go to the next church. All 9 churches are within a 5 block area of downtown Lynchburg. Interfaith Outreach will be raffling off tickets to the UVA/VT basketball game which will be on January 15\, 2019 at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville\, Virginia at the University of Virginia. This package\, which was donated by the Bank of the James\, includes 4 Club Seats in the Lower Level plus access to the Hospitality Area known as the “Legend’s Lounge.” Raffle tickets are $10 a piece and are available for purchase at Interfaith Outreach Association and will also be available for purchase on line beginning  December 1.
